Train with Us

Pathway Trust is committed to offering a wide range of professional development opportunities for teachers and school support staff, extending our strong culture of learning and development across all of our schools. We recognise that investing in the skills, knowledge and expertise of our staff is key to supporting excellent teaching, effective leadership and positive outcomes for pupils.

We provide professional development through four key routes:

School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT)
Supporting aspiring teachers as they begin their careers in education

Foundation Degree with Centre for Children’s Workforce
Providing opportunities for school support staff to develop their knowledge, skills and qualifications while working in our schools

Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
Offering structured support and development for teachers at the beginning of their professional careers

Ongoing CPD and Development
Providing continued opportunities for all staff to build their expertise, share good practice and progress throughout their careers

 The impact of our programmes

Our professional development programmes are designed to support staff at every stage of their career, providing opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues, develop confidence and build the skills needed to achieve their aspirations.

“The trust has helped me to develop both professionally and personally, as I have learned from experienced mentors and peers. It has been the enabler for a dream career to become a reality and I would not have been able to do it without the support of everyone involved in running the programme.”
